The teeth, after orthodontic treatment, tend to change their condition, which is only a minor variation that can be resolved with the patient’s responsibility to use orthodontic preservatives (orthodontics). The pursuit of livelihood during a lifetime can bring about adverse changes that are subject to various factors. These changes include rapid growth of wisdom teeth, puberty-related growth changes, oral breathing, playing musical instruments and other oral habits, all of which may be beyond the control of orthodontics.
